 In 2022, we had a number of new insurance companies join BCBSNC in our area of North Carolina. Friday Health & Aetna CVS in particular. For 2023 –  142 Plans Available. Plans have all gotten better and more competitive. With inflation and rising prices – THIS IS THE YEAR TO SHOP YOUR COVERAGE

     AND If YOU have an Employer based/Group Insurance Plan.
            AND if that plan was considered "Affordable" for YOU as employee only
                    AND That plan was NOT affordable for the whole family
                            NOW YOU have NEW OPTIONS for your family

Increased Subsidies Continuing!

Premiums and Subsidies change each year. Important: review your 2023 numbers. And No Income Cap: Premium Discounts are calculated as a percentage of your Total household Income. Now, if you make more money – Great. Your subsidy will be reconciled to the actual income. ​

Now, more time to decide

For this year - the enrollment period has been extended to January 15, 2023. Apply or renew your policy by December 15th - your new coverage will begin on January 1st, 2023. If you need more time to decide, circumstances changed, or you just plain forgot - apply by January 15th for a February 1st effective date. ​
